Introducing: The Chicago Poetry Center!
Have we got exciting news! We’ve changed our name to the Chicago Poetry Center. Why? Because our programs:
- Support the careers and showcase the work of Chicago poets
- Bring poetry to students across Chicago
- Bring poetry events to different Chicago neighborhoods every month
We’re Chicago Poetry, and we’re proud of it. We’ve had a lot of changes this year. Check out our new short video to learn all about our current programs. Did you know that we have:
- Two school programs! Poets with Class + Hands On Stanzas
- A roving, city-wide reading series
- An online poetry resource featuring over 300 pages of streaming audio, images, poems, and more
