This last week at Henry, we looked at Ayokunle Falomo’s “#BlackBoyJoy” poem. We learned about personification as a further expansion of metaphors and imagery. Check out some of our poems from this week!

My home is like a beach
Fun dances around you
yet it’s calming and warming.

My laughter is a photograph.
When you think of it,
memories flood back to your mind.
