This week instead of working on a writing exercise, I shared a few of my favorite writing resources with students. I walked students through how to use a free online visual thesaurus, Etymology sites, and rhyming dictionaries. It’s important to share a little bit of my own process with students, and show them the work and research that often goes into writing a piece. Then we spent the rest of the session editing some pieces and using the resources I shared. Tune in next week to check out some new poems!
