Join the Poetry Center of Chicago for this month’s installment of the Six Points Reading Series. Admission is free at the Garland Room on the first floor of the Chicago Cultural Center. The reading will take place on August 6th from 6-7pm.
This month, we’re pleased to feature Fred Sasaki and Dolly Lemke! Curated and hosted by Danielle Susi.
DOLLY LEMKE is the author of two chapbooks, O Town Heights (DoubleCross Press, 2012) and I’m so into you (plumberries press, 2013). She is founder and co-curator of The Dollhouse Reading Series and also co-founded the online poetry journal PINWHEEL where she serves as Poetry Editor.
FRED SASAKI is the art director for Poetry magazine and a gallery curator for the Poetry Foundation. He also co-founded Homeroom Chicago’s “School Night” info show in which artists and professionals take culture to task in front of a drinking crowd. With his son and late father he is the author of the zine series, FRED SASAKI’S & FRED SASAKI’S FOUR-PAGER GUIDE TO: HOW TO FIX YOU, which has been adapted as a short animation.
Our next Six Points reading is on September 24 featuring Sara Henning and Rachel Mennies.
